Bells, Bridges & Belonging
A new interactive installation
Bells have shaped the soundscape and identity of Loughborough for centuries from the craft of the world-famous bell makers to the echoes that ripple across Charnwood. This installation invites audiences to step into that living heritage, exploring the power of bells as symbols of community, memory, and change.
Through sound, film and interaction, Bells, Bridges & Belonging connects the past with the present honouring the artistry of bell-making while we explore and celebrate the diverse communities of Loughborough and their deep-rooted connection to bells through art, storytelling, and collective cultural expression.
Launched on 5th June 2026 at Taylors Bell Foundry, Loughborough.
