A canary escapes from an underground coalmine revealing a multi-screen digital film projection using immersive graphics, documentary archive film and drone footage. Inspired by the 1984/85 Miners’ Strike to the present day Revealed: Triptych is a tribute to miners and mining communities.  

Triggered by a QR code, visitors can interact with Chloe, a digital canary held in the palm of their hand, offering an engaging and fun experience for children and adults alike. 

Chloe is also the heroine of ‘Rollerbird’, a new light-hearted mobile game that pays homage to the tiny yellow bird that saved so many miners’ lives. Rollerbird invites players to fly Chloe over Wakefield district uncovering the collieries that were still in operation at the time of the Miners’ Strike.
