Stories of Insight

A project working to create audio stories during Covid-19 with some of Wakefield’s most vulnerable residents – those with sight loss

We worked alongside Wakefield District Sight Aid (WDSA) to support members to be able to tell their stories through audio interviews and share them with the wider community during Covid-19. At this time of social isolation, many visually impaired people (particularly the elderly) were more isolated than ever.

Stories of Insight engaged some of the most vulnerable people in the District and also created a legacy of experiences of people that are often overlooked and not heard.
