Threads of Us

Threads of Us is a new project exploring the heritage of the textile mills in Wakefield.
Inspired by a love story that began at the former Rutland Mill, now Tileyard, this new short Virtual Reality piece will draw on the experiences and stories of people working within the mills around Wakefield to create a beautiful immersive story celebrating the heritage of the mills.
There are different ways you can get involved in the project – either by sharing your stories / memories / photos on the link below (full credits given) or by coming a workshop to help shape the film. The workshops will be run at Wakefield, Sandal and Horbury libraries in October.
