Call for contributions

We are exploring people’s relationships with and perceptions of the Moon through a new Virtual Reality experience called Zero Gravity Lunar Library.

On the virtual trip to the moon visitors will step on board a mobile library space capsule which houses a gallery of images and film from Wakefield in 1969 as well as audio and video of people’s thoughts and memories of the Moon and space landing. Visitors can then walk on the Moon's spectacular surface and plant their own Wakefield flag in the moon dust.

We’d love you to contribute to this project by answering a few questions!

5. You're travelling to the Moon – take one book to read and leave in our Lunar Library! Which one is it?

6. Do you have a photo from 1969 from Wakefield District you'd like to contribute to the exhibition? It must be your photograph and by contributing you are agreeing that it is OK to use as part of a public exhibition within Zero Gravity Lunar Library.

Thank you so much for your contribution!
