Star Online Arts Programme and Interactive Resource
Losing someone you love is incredibly hard, but for a child or young person it can also be confusing and scary. We were really proud to work with Star Bereavement who support children and young people in Wakefield who have lost someone they love.
Throughout Lockdown we ran an arts programme online delivering creative writing, animation, spoken word and singing workshops with Star Participants. We invited artists Amy Charles, Matt Abbott, Charlotte Blacker and Ali Bullivent to work with us on this project.
We also created an online resource for Star Bereavement to help them improve their online presence by creating new methods of engaging with children and young people, recruitment of volunteers and effective staff management through a new virtual office which went live in December 2020.
